This caused the ring finger on my left hand to swell because the bolt was difficult to remove. The boy is a resident of Palugon village, Wanaraja district, Cilacap regency.
The parents of the victim, Yandi, said the unfortunate incident occurred on Friday (11/11/2022) yesterday at around 8pm WIB.
“Yesterday he was playing at your house, you don’t know if he took it from the closet or the bolt was suddenly in his ring finger,” Yandi told reporters on Saturday (12/11/2022).
She explained that the family had made every effort to remove the bolt that had become lodged in her son’s finger, but still couldn’t get out.
“Every road has been tried. Then I’ve been everywhere but nothing can happen, even yesterday I went to the doctor but I couldn’t”, he explained.

Then, Yandi continued, he was informed that for such treatment it is advisable to go to the Fire Department.
“Someone told me, I finally got to the Banjar City Fire Department today,” he explained.
Yandi added that his son’s condition has improved now. The latch stuck in the son’s finger was successfully removed by the firefighters.
“Alhamdulillah, I am relieved now, the officers were able to remove the bolts earlier. I am very grateful to the Banjar City Fire Department,” he said.
Bolt stuck in child’s finger, first incident handled by Banjar fire brigade
Meanwhile, Banjar City Fire Chief (UPTD) Aam Amijaya said the bolt that got stuck in the child’s finger was the first incident handled by the fire brigade.
“This is the first incident, because we usually handle rings that are difficult to remove from our fingers,” said Aam Amijaya.
According to him, thanks to cooperation with BPBD officers from Banjar city, the bolt was successfully removed from the boy’s ring finger.
“Previously, team A from the fire brigade teamed up with the BPBD so the bolt could be removed from the child’s hand,” he said.
