Dominic Stricker plays great in the Next Generation ATP Finals and is at the start of the semifinals. In an interview with Blue Sport, coach Sven Swinnen says he trusts his protege in Milan to do anything.
He is currently serving “incredibly well”, especially for his size, says manager Swinnen as one of the success factors. At 1.83 meters Stricker is no giant, but he is only two centimeters shorter than Roger Federer. The tennis coach also likes the aggressive playing style of his protege. You can hear in the video above if Stricker has an advantage as a left-hander and what he thinks he is capable of in Milan.
On Thursday night, Stricker meets Taiwan’s Chun Hsin Tseng (ATP 90) in the final group match (from 7:30 pm). Even if the Swiss loses this match, he is still in the semifinals. So it’s about gaining more self-confidence so that you can go to the semifinals with a good feeling.
