SAINT-LOUIS – Calle Rosen scored a goal and an assist as the St. Louis Blues returned to winning ways by beating the San Jose Sharks 5-3 on Thursday night.

Rosen’s first goal of the season broke a 3-3 draw midway through the third period. Noel Acciari closed the books with an empty net.

Torey Krug, Jordan Kyrou and Brandon Saad also scored for the Blues, who have achieved an eight-game losing streak, the longest in the team’s history.

Jordan Binnington made 27 saves for the St. Louis team, which they won for the first time since October 22.

The Blues have won their last six matches against the Sharks and have scored at least one point in their last eight matches.

Timo Meier, Tomas Hertl and Logan Couture found the bottom of the net for the Sharks, who suffered their fifth consecutive defeat. Kaapo Kahkonen blocked 28 discs.
