The actor kept his new life under wraps.
Stanislav Nikolaev became famous for his roles in series such as My Fair Nanny and Hotel Eleon. The audience warmly welcomed the artist to the screen and enjoyed playing him very much, but in 2017 he suddenly disappeared from the public eye. As it turned out, the celebrity decided on a radical change in life.
The fact is that five years ago Nikolaev went to the monastery. He has completely abandoned his previous life and now lives in the Valaam Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery. The artist takes a new name Anastasio and grows a beard: now the meek shepherd can no longer be recognized as a bright star of the screen.
The details of the artist’s new life became known only thanks to the documentary “Non-parting”, which tells the story of his family. At the heart of the plot is the relationship of her parents, Vera and Oleg Nikolaev, who, as it turned out, were not happy with the choice of their son. According to them, Stanislav cannot be a pastor and, moreover, they do not consider it a full life.
