Washington: The Jetpack Resource Center and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CARE) have reported an increase in Muslim representation in the mid-term elections in the United States. In these mid-term elections, 145 Muslim candidates, including 48 state assembly candidates, ran for local, state and federal offices in 23 states. Still no clear win anywhere. According to Jetpack, there are currently 29 Muslim members serving in 18 states.
