The Spotify app renews its interface on App Watch

The Spotify: Music & Podcasts app for Apple Watch has been updated with larger controls, swipe gestures, and a better library view.

A new smoother interface!

After a temporary suspension of the service (small bug in watchOS and unwillingness to withdraw), the Swedish company has just deployed new user-oriented featuresto enhance their daily experience on their Apple Watch.

In the menu, the UI takes advantage of this update to get pLarger surfaces for controls for ease of use on the small Apple Watch screen. At the same time, there are also larger Elels illustrations, accompanied by new animations. On the functional side we can, for example, swipe to indicate that you like a song.

A new navigation

Browsing her music and podcast library has been fixed and is meant for simpler and more intuitive, just like downloading content, to listen to it outside of any connection. Finally, again with the aim of facilitating navigation, it is next to the podcasts that we will find a blue check mark (It’s the fashion that seems …) to highlight new unread episodes.

This update should be installed without user intervention. Spotify: Music and Podcasts is free with in-app purchases, on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch, requires iOS 13.0, iPadOS 13.0 and tvOS 13.0 or later.
