A 39-year-old American was charged with domestic violence and child abuse after he beat his 14-year-old daughter on Monday in Russellville, Alabama. Alerted by a neighbor, the police arrived at the home of Cristoforo Andrighetti, left upside down. At the entrance to the mobile home, police discovered broken beer bottles, a broken game console and drops of blood.
After forced entry, the police discovered that the television was destroyed, the computers smashed, that kitchen utensils were scattered everywhere, and that the children’s furniture and clothes were scattered around the four corners of the house. The thirty-year-old was hiding in the bathroom closet. The father of the family showed signs of lacerations, which he had inflicted on his arms and life himself, he explains. WHNT.
He rushes to the neighbor
Taking refuge with a neighbor, the daughter of Cristoforo Andrighetti explained to the investigators that her father was unleashed on her. The reason? The teenager revealed to her mother that her father had created a social media account and that he suspected he was having an affair. Upon learning this, the 30-year-old freaked out and started beating the girl with his fists, a shower curtain rod, and a piece of wood, before throwing her on the ground, slapping her and throwing objects at her – especially bottles of glass – on it.
The man then ordered his daughter to clean up this whole mess. On his way to the kitchen to get a garbage bag, the teenager noticed that the front door was open. She took the opportunity to escape from the neighbor. The victim had to be hospitalized. Another child also lived in this mobile home.
