The Coolblue electronics store on Sontplein in Groningen was hacked Wednesday morning between 5:30 and 5:45 am. The shop window was filled with bricks and flagstones.
Police arrested three suspects on Wednesday morning. A spokesperson said two other people may have been on the run and had walked or walked towards the Bauhaus. A fourth suspect was arrested on Wednesday afternoon thanks to footage from surveillance cameras.
It is not known if anything was caught during the raid. Two of the perpetrators escaped through the grounds of the Kwadraat multi-company building.
A witness saw them escape and managed to guide the agents in the right direction. One of them, he said, could be handcuffed immediately. “Suddenly I saw two men running after me. One had a hat and fell to the ground. It seemed that some of the cables had also fallen to the ground. ”
