A new phase of the counter-offensive operation of the defense forces, apparently, has begun in southern Ukraine.
This conclusion can be drawn from the reports of the Russian occupation authorities. In addition, information about the active actions of Ukrainian defenders is confirmed by Dumskaya’s sources in the army.
As far as we can judge, yesterday our troops launched an assault on Snigirevka, the last remaining city in the occupation of the Nikolaev region, an important transport center and one of the key points of Russian defense in this direction. According to our information, the defenders – sadly not without losses – managed to gain a foothold on the outskirts of the settlement and destroy a large column of Russians. Now the fight is on.
A similar situation has developed further south, closer to the sea, where the Defense Forces are squeezing the enemy out of the militarily important village of Pravdino in the Kherson region. There is also information on the tactical success of Ukrainian troops in the Dudchan region on the banks of the Dnieper.
On a certain number of sectors of the front, the enemy had practically no more personnel units: completely demoralized “mobiles”. In some villages, where the Russians were yesterday, their troops are gone.
In retreat, the invaders blow up the bridges behind them. In particular, the destruction of the Daryevka, Snigirevka, Tyaginka (railway), Mylovoe and Novokairy bridges is known. Therefore, they are trying to slow down the advance of the Ukrainian defenders and allow their own to withdraw.
Meanwhile, the flags of the attacking country continue to disappear in temporarily occupied Kherson.
