Kalemie, October 8, 2022 (ACP) .- Deputy Vincent Kibombo Kakudy, president of the provincial assembly of Tanganyika who led a delegation made up of members of the government of this province, proceeded on Monday to the official inauguration of the reference hospital called Cinquantenaire built in the capital of the territory of Manono.
“This referral hospital with a capacity to accommodate several patients, whose work was completed three years ago with equity funding from the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has been abandoned and its infrastructure has begun to deteriorate with the theft of some equipment. following the lack of inauguration “, indicated the territorial administrator of Manono, Mukamba Kaseya.
Mukamba Kaseya thanked the governor of the province of Tanganyika, Julie Ngungwa Mwayuma, who decided to send a strong delegation to this territory to proceed with the inauguration of the aforementioned hospital.
For its part, the provincial minister of health of Tanganyika, dr. Sety Kitungwa, stressed that the fifty-year-old public hospital in Manono is a modern masterpiece, equipped with various latest generation materials not comparable in the six territories of Tanganyika.
