This season the authorities have secured 1 million doses of the vaccine and 300,000 are still available for categories at risk, Health Minister Florian Bodog told Radio Romania Actualità: “The vaccination campaign is aimed at people with high disease risk, I am referring here to medical personnel, people over 65, people with chronic diseases, especially those with respiratory, cardiovascular, metabolic diseases, children, hospitalized elderly, pregnant women.
The vaccine is intended for these categories.
I want to assure the Romanian population that flu vaccination, like all vaccinations included in our vaccination program, is a safe procedure, it is a procedure that prevents disease.
It is the only procedure that can prevent the disease.
