The Lebanese credit bank incident that stormed its Hazmieh branch last week did not go through without taking rigorous measures against intruders, including a lawyer, and prosecuting them this time for a crime, contrary to what seen in previous files of the assault of bank depositors who were released on bail after all of them had been charged with minor offenses. .
The depositors Ibrahim Beydoun, Ali Al-Sahili and Catherine Al-Ali, who were accompanied by the lawyer Rami Aleik in the bank assault trial, are now in the custody of the first investigative judge of Mount Lebanon Nicolas Mansour, after having referred the file of the public prosecutor discriminating against the justice of Baabda with the recommendation to maintain their arrest and to issue an arrest warrant overriding their rights.
In the novelty of this file, it was learned that the discriminatory Attorney General, Judge Ghassan Al-Khoury, had referred the file to Judge Mansour, after he had indicated their arrest and after obtaining permission from the Bar Association to Beirut to prosecute Olaik and lift his immunity. The accusation came against the intruders of the Lebanese Credit Bank, on the basis of crimes related to “entering the bank by force of arms, threatening employees and stealing the bank’s money”, crimes punishable by imprisonment for at least three years .
Consequently, the “Depositors ‘Scream Association” organized a movement that started from the Muhammad Al-Amin mosque in Martyrs’ Square, and arrived at the home of the Deputy Prime Minister His Excellency Al-Shami, and then at the home of the former. The deputy Nicolas Nahas, at the home of the owner of Credit Libanais Bank Joseph Tarabay, accompanied by the “United Nations” and the families of the depositors, the detainees, and warned against “proceeding with the lawsuit he filed against them after being entered his bank to request their deposit “, asking for” their release of all of them “.

The statement indicated that “Alaq was repeatedly offered, while within Hazmieh’s Credit Libanais Bank, not to be arrested in exchange for exercising the right to defend his clients who are depositors external to the bank, but he chose to stay with them and bear the consequences of the arrest in line with his convictions and his principles as a lawyer ”.
He stressed that “Aliq held judges Ghassan Oweidat and Ghassan Al-Khoury responsible for arresting him in very harsh conditions and in the presence of those who viciously persecute him inside his glasses, and confirms, despite all other charges, this responsibility for any damage. that it could happen to him and his deposited clients, wanting to allow him to meet his mother after his safety has been suspended “between life and death”.
He also stressed that “Aliq regretted the timid role of the president of the Beirut Bar Association, especially after their adoption of depositor rights protection, and calls on every depositor, lawyer and free Lebanese to support him in his fight for depositors who dropped the fig leaf on the atrocities and perpetrations of the profound mafia state corruption against an exposed people, in fact, is described as genocide.
The statement concluded: “Despite the appreciation of the agreement, which took place with Judge Owaidat, who was close to reaching his conclusions and respecting its terms, it seems that the pressures of bank owners and criminals have begun to negatively affect credibility. by Owaidat. Through his blood, as a testimony in the eyes of God to always be with the truth and not to hesitate to take revenge against the owners of banks who refuse by any means the rights to restore the right to their owners ”.
