The research institute IndoStrategi Research and Consulting published the results of a survey on simulation of pairs of presidential candidates and vice-presidential candidates from potential figures who will advance Presidential elections of 2024. The survey results show that the simulation of the candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Ganjar Pranowo will gain the support of 60.3% of respondents.
This survey was conducted from 27 October to 5 November 2022, involving 1,230 respondents with the criteria of an Indonesian population over the age of 17 or in possession of an identity card. Data recovery is done by the method of multistage random sampling.
Data were collected through face-to-face interviews with the aid of a questionnaire. Margin of error this survey recorded + – 2.83 percent with a 95 percent confidence level.
Indostrategi Research and Consulting executive director Arif Nurul Imam explained that in this survey there were 4 simulations of candidate pairs. One of the simulations is pairing Prabowo and Ganjar.

“The second simulation of Prabowo-Ganjar against Anies-AHY, if then the simulation took place Prabowo-Ganjar won 1 round by 60.3% overall. While Anies-AHY by 29.6%. I think the stronger pair when Prabowo-Ganjar has coupled in the presidential election, ”Arif said in a virtual press conference on Monday (7/11/2022).
According to him, from the simulation, the Prabowo-Ganjar couple appears to have the most potential in the presidential election when the two are paired.
“This survey creates a simulation scenario of two competing pairs of candidates. The simulation results show that the strongest pairs are Prabowo-Ganjar, Prabowo-Erick and Prabowo-Puan,” he said.
“Prabowo-Ganjar gets an eligibility rate of 60.3% if they fight with Anies-AHY. Prabowo-Erick gets 54.5% if they fight with Airlangga-Ganjar. Meanwhile, Prabowo-Muhaimin will lose if they fight with Ganjar-Erick. “he added.
