Go Sharing shared scooters are forced to disappear from most cities | Economy

Go Sharing’s shared electric scooters are disappearing from 45 cities in the Netherlands. The company has grown rapidly in recent years, but will soon be available in only thirteen cities.

Go Sharing writes in a declaration that the use of scooters is often too low to be profitable. “In the current economic climate, characterized by a lot of uncertainty, investors hesitate.”

Shared scooters are popular in many cities. That is why there is often discomfort. Scooters are sometimes parked in places where it is not the intention. That is why the municipality of Utrecht previously decided to no longer allow shared scooters.

Go Sharing says scooters will gradually disappear from cities. You can still use the green scooter in Haarlem, Delft, The Hague and Rotterdam, among others.
