Indian skipper Rohit Sharma reached a milestone after winning the last Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma broke Babar Azam’s record.

Rohit Sharma holds the record for having won the most games in a calendar year by a captain in the T20 format.

This is Rohit Sharma’s 21st victory as captain after defeating Zimbabwe in the last Super 12 game. With T20 games still to be played in 2022, Rohit will certainly achieve this feat.

In one of the best years of his career in 2021, Rohit broke Pakistani skipper Babar Azam’s record of 20 wins.

But even when India are winning games, captain Rohit Sharma’s bad form is giving the team a headache. In the World Cup there was not a single shot from the hitman’s club, with the exception of the half-century he scored against the young Dutch team.

In the match against Zimbabwe, Rohit managed to score only 15 points out of 13 balls.
