Following List of MotoGP World Championssince the name was pinned to the primary class of the world championship in 2002. Ada Francesco Bagnaia became the last name.
Bagnaia become world champion MotoGP 2022 after winning the race with Fabio Quartararo who is the champion MotoGP in the 2021 season. The climax of the competition took place on the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Sunday (11/6) evening WIB.
Since Casey Stoner in 2007, this is the first time that a Ducati rider has won the MotoGP World Championship. Only these two riders have ever taken the Ducati world champion into the primary class.
The MotoGP name itself has only been used since 2002, replacing the previous 500cc era. Francesco Bagnaia now officially joins the names that were once champions List of MotoGP World Champions.
