Legislative: Reconquest presents its candidates

Reconquest, the far-right party founded by Eric Zemmour, launched its legislative campaign in Montauban on Monday, presenting its candidates to the ballot on June 12 and 19. In the 1st district, the two departmental heads of Reconquest will ask for the votes: Luc Francez-Charlot, a 55-year-old soldier residing in Valence-d’Agen and Cédric Torrens, a 33-year-old company manager, who lives and works in Montauban .

In the 2nd constituency, the current candidate will be, as announced, Frédéric Cases, 50, a police officer from Castelsarrasin. The ephemeral departmental manager of the RN, who went to Zemmour before the presidential elections, will be replaced by Sophie Lopez, 56, deputy mayor of Moissac in charge of culture and heritage.

“Reconquest” immediately turned the page of the presidential elections and the score, well below the expectations of the polemicist, obtained in the 1st round (7.07% nationally and 8.07% in Tarn-et-Garonne). The party claims 130,000 members in France, including 450 in our department “while the RN has only 120 members”. In this squabble with the lepenists, Frédéric Cases regrets that the RN has not “taken Eric Zemmour’s hand for an agreement in the legislative elections” but is nonetheless convinced that “the union of patriots and rights will be a reality. day.

Luc Francez-Charlot, a career soldier, will campaign on “insecurity, poverty, the precariousness of retirees and the defense of France”. Frédéric Cases wants to carry out “a campaign as close as possible to the people and the people with the trailer on the markets, door to door and public meetings, especially in Castelsarrasin and Moissac”.
