The incident occurred around 3 in the morning. Suddenly, several customers started experiencing sore throats, after which the shop emptied. It had been rumored for some time that someone had thrown a “bomb” inside, but it soon turned out to be wrong.
Rescuers intervened en masse on the spot. In addition to the fire brigade teams, an ambulance and a MUG were also sent to the scene. The windows and doors of the cafe were opened and all visitors had to stay on the terrace for a while.
The pepper spray eventually turned out to be the cause. Two people had to be cared for on the spot because they became ill. It is still unclear who is responsible for the pepper spray in the case.
