Chandrakant Jha is one of the most famous serial killers in New Delhi, India. He is known to be as good at cutting every part of his victim’s body as a butcher cuts beef.
According to IndiaToday, Chandrakant known to have been involved in seven murder cases from 1998 to 2007.
His first recorded murder was in 1998. He also had to spend more than three years in prison. He was released in 2002 for lack of evidence.
After this, he proceeded to kill and maim at least six other people. Although he was arrested in connection with these six murders, he managed to escape four murder cases, again for lack of evidence.
Mutilation to eliminate evidence
Chandrakant constantly evades police suspicions by mutilating his victims and scattering their body parts around the city, making it difficult for the police to identify the victims and perpetrators of the crime.
He will do all this to take revenge on the police. This is his way of taking revenge on the Delhi police for their “cruelty” towards Chandrakant. Chandrakant admitted he was mistreated by the police. His wife was also imprisoned.
In two cases, a note was also found with mutilated body parts found outside Tihar prison.
The judge also took seriously Chandrakant’s allegations against police that he committed murder to avenge the police harassment he had suffered.
