Peace! The online taxi driver apologizes to the cyclist shot in Harmoni

Taxi driver online initials ML chi hit a cyclist at the red light Harmoni, Central Jakarta, mediated with the victim. Through mediation, the two have decided to make peace.

The two are known to have met on Sunday (6/11) at the Central Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit’s office. ML apologized to the victim and promised to take full responsibility.

“I am the driver of the accident in Harmoni, I want to apologize to the victim and I will take full responsibility,” ML said on the spot on Sunday (6/11/2022).

On the same occasion, the victim with the initials YP accepted the apology of the offender. The two then shook hands.

“I accept your apology,” YP said.

The police call the cyclist on a road bike victim of a hit and run in Harmoni without asking for anything

Central Jakarta subway police traffic chief Kompol Purwanta said the two have now been investigated by police. The victim, he said, didn’t ask for anything.

“It is still a mediation, I don’t know what the results will be, wait for the news. She was satisfied. We will see the results, then we wait first at the BAP. The victim cannot be prosecuted,” Purwanta said when contacted on Sunday (6 / 11/2022).

Of note, a cyclist was hit and hit by a car at the red light intersection Harmoni, Central Jakarta. The car would have fled after the accident.

The incident was confirmed directly by the Vice President of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Ahmad Sahroni, who was pedaling on the spot. He said the incident happened at 6:30 am WIB.
