Bordeaux lose to Nîmes
by Matthieu Cointe (iDalgo)
One last success. The excitement was felt on Saturday in the bays of the Costières stadium when Nîmes Olympique played their last game in this enclosure after 33 years of loyal service. The Crocodiles did not fail to pay homage to him by winning by the minimum margin against the leader of Bordeaux during the 14th day of Ligue 2 (1-0). Jean N’Guessan scored the only goal of the game with a superb long-range shot in the sixth minute. Nicolas Usai’s men then suffered for a long time but did not give up. They get their 4th hit of the season and temporarily go out of the red zone. For their part, Bordeaux remain first but could lose the lead at the end of the weekend if Le Havre or Sochaux win this evening.
