The Polytron Fox-R enters the entry-level scooter segment. The company only sells the bike and does not include the battery. The manufacturer supplies the batteries with a rental system.
This ecological motor is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 3kW and a maximum speed of 90km / h. The battery has a capacity of 3.7 kWh.
This engine can travel 130km on a fully charged battery.
The battery is said to be charged from zero to 80 percent with a runtime of 4 hours and 30 minutes.
To get the battery, consumers have to rent monthly with a three-year contract system. This one-month rental is subject to an additional fee of IDR 250,000.
If calculated, the three-year rental fee for the Fox-R battery at Polytron reaches Rp 9 million.
The company claims that this rental scheme benefits consumers because the battery price is quite high or can reach Rp 35 million. In addition to making the price of the bike more affordable, it is said that consumers don’t have to worry about the battery being damaged because it is backed by a warranty.
The deck itself is quite spacious and can accommodate a pilot with a height of 167cm.
Polytron can already be ordered at the Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) 2022. Delivery of the units to consumers will take place next year.
