A man jumped under the train in Plovdiv and died instantly. The suicide took place at 2 pm yesterday in the “Smirnenski” neighborhood. The deceased is 58, informed “Maritsa” by the police in the town below the hills.
Yesterday the man from Plovdiv approached the railway tracks in the Kaspela hospital area. When the train approached, he surprisingly threw himself in front of it. The carabinieri and an ambulance arrived on the spot. His body was collected.
The reasons for the 58-year-old’s suicide are still unclear. According to one of the versions, he was terminally ill. However, whether this is the cause remains to be seen.
