Branded diesel sales increased 13.7% in eight months

A total of 23,836 tons of marked diesel were sold in eight months, or 2,872 tons or 13.7% more than the eight months of 2021, according to the State Revenue Agency (TO) the indicators of circulation of excisable products collected.

The amount of sales of marked (tagged) petroleum products, sold for use in free port and free zone equipment, increased by 610 tonnes or 22.4% in eight months compared to the eight months of 2021, while the quantity of marked diesel fuel sold to individuals increased 21 tons or 1.1%.

The amount of labeled diesel fuel sold to legal entities (for use as a fuel for the production of heat in heating or thermal energy production in the technological process of producing the product (transformation)) increased by 2807 tonnes or 25.9 %, while the amount of labeled diesel fuel sold for ship supply decreased by 566 tons or 10, 4%.

In eight months, 1,962 tons of branded diesel were sold to individuals, 13,646 tons to legal entities, 4,890 tons for ship supplies and 3,338 tons for use in free ports and free zones.

According to the SRS, the demand for marked (labeled) diesel is influenced by both climatic conditions and the choice of users in favor of other types of fuel.
