Kans Son Heung-min play World Cup 2022 endangered. Why, forwards Tottenham Hotspur just had eye surgery.
Son had bad luck while defending Tottenham against Marseille on Matchday 6 of the Champions League, Wednesday (11/02/2022) early yesterday morning WIB.
He was not caught on the pitch and had to be withdrawn after a confrontation with Chancel Mbemba. His son’s face was bruised and stretched out, so he had to undergo field treatment.
The day after the game, Son was due to undergo surgery because the bone in his left eye socket was fractured.
“After the operation, Son will continue his recovery process with the medical team and we will provide further developments,” the North London club said in a statement.
This operation keeps Son out of Tottenham’s encounter with Liverpool this weekend. Meanwhile, for the remaining two Tottenham matches before the World Cup, Son’s participation will still be monitored.
The most nervous is obviously the South Korean national team because there are only 18 days to go until the Qatar World Cup. Son’s recovery process is eagerly awaited so that she can play her first match against Uruguay on 24 November.
There’s a possibility Son Heung-min wear a mask to protect your face. In addition to Uruguay, Portugal and Ghana will face South Korea in Group H of the 2022 World Cup.
