Noordwijk – People who were eligible for the flu shot at the Wantveld general practitioner office were able to get vaccinated Wednesday at the Teatro de Muze. Between 3pm and 6pm, staff were ready to inject people at risk of becoming seriously ill with the flu virus. Vaccinations were carried out only on presentation of a letter of invitation.
Moving the venue for the flu shot elicited positive responses. There were fewer long lines, which meant patients could be helped more quickly. Wheelchairs with chaperones were available for people with walking difficulties. Several young people have also shown the way.
For people who have been invited by the Wantveld GP free practice but who were not available on November 2nd, it is possible to visit the Muze on Friday November 11th from 3pm to 6pm.
