“In vaccination against Covid 19 we have a 97.7% complete scheme and we were the first city in the country to obtain herd immunity and one of the first to remove the mask. Progress was also made in the measles and rubella vaccination campaign in children under the age of 11, rising from 39,908 in 2021 to 42,026 in 2022. There were also zero deaths in children under the age of 5 from malnutrition and acute diarrheal diseases. noted the mayor.
Likewise, he highlighted that new educational institutions have been built in the field of education, such as the one in Ciudad Boquía, for the benefit of 1,040 students, and in the El Remanso neighborhood, which will host 960 students, and the educational institution La Word, which will benefit 300 students.
“In the School Feeding Plan -PAE- 165 schools benefited, supporting a population of 23,683 students; We also guarantee Internet for all educational institutions in the city and have 35 additional Wi-Fi zones.
