CIANJUR, DISWAY.ID- Cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) are still a scourge that needs to be watched for.
In the Cianjur Regency, the Local Health Authority recorded the number of DHF cases for the period July-September 2022 up to 177 cases.
The type of disease caused by the bite of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito carrying the dengue virus, if left without medical treatment will lead to the death of the patient.

Infection with the dengue virus causes various clinical symptoms, such as fever, dizziness, pain in the eyeballs, muscles, joints and skin rashes.
“At the end of last September, there were 177 cases of dengue fever,” said Cianjur District Health Bureau (P2P) Head of Disease Control and Eradication (P2P), Dr Frida on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Laila Yahya.
He said, from the total number above, no one died (MD).
“Nobody died, but this DHF case actually depends on the cleanliness of the environment,” he said.
Frida said that keeping the environment clean was the most important thing. In addition, maintaining immunity is also very important.
“In addition to maintaining immunity, environmental hygiene is also the most important, because dengue is identical to the transmission of mosquitoes,” he explained.

Mosquito nest eradication needs to be further improved, such as waterlogged places or bottles that are cleaned regularly.
“I urge that cleanliness is the most important thing, especially if it rains and causes stagnation of water, it must be cleaned as soon as possible because cleanliness is the most important,” he concluded.
