Before donating blood
In the hours preceding the blood donation, it is advisable to drink at least 500 ml of water or juice and to eat well, avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate collection, wear loose fitting clothing and roll-up sleeves above the elbow.
It is also necessary to have a donor card or an identity document.
Very strict selection criteria have been established if you want to donate blood. To find out more about these criteria or get more information, please visit the organization’s website.
