Health Minister François Braun announced on Wednesday an allocation of 400 million euros in aid instead of the 150 planned for October. A measure intended to reduce the hospital crisis and which concerns “services in tension”, including pediatric emergencies, affected by an epidemic of bronchiolitis.

Among the measures detailed by François Braun, the continuation of the increase in the remuneration of night hours (implemented this summer) until March 31, 2023 for medical and non-medical personnel. One way to “recognize the difficulties of night work,” he explained at a press conference.
Extended Intensive Care Bonus
In addition, the intensive care exercise bonus is extended to all staff. It was initially intended for nurses and health managers and amounts to 118 euros gross.
Finally, the government intends to extend the “flash mission” organized by Elisabeth Borne this summer to unblock hospitals.
These measures will be discussed again in the context of the work carried out by the National Council for Refoundation launched at the beginning of October and by the National Pediatric Conference scheduled for spring 2023.
