Entry into Qatar until December 23 is reserved for those registered on the portal

Riyadh: The Saudi Jawazat (Directorate-General of Passports) has announced that it is ready to provide services to those traveling from Saudi Arabia to Qatar to attend the World Cup matches starting on the 20th of this month. Jawaharlal Nehru officials informed that all international airports and border checkpoints have sufficient staff with modern technical systems to provide services including immigration to those leaving for Doha via air and land routes.
The Saudi news agency reported that this system will be in place from passengers’ departure until return. Jawazat also clarified that travel from Saudi Arabia to Qatar will only be allowed with a passport registered on the Haiya portal between November 1. and December 23. Qatari citizens and foreigners holding a Qatari identity card are exempt from this requirement.
