A former Atlanta board member says there will be no Kanye West Day due to his recent controversies. Former council member Natalyn Archibong is distancing himself, saying he wouldn’t hand over the honor now.
Archibong was part of the Atlanta City Council which last year decided to honor the rapper. Ye was born in the city, so she saw fit to honor him with a day in her hometown.
Sadly, the stylist’s ominous headlines forced the former board member to say goodbye, so no Kanye West Day this year. Archibong went so far as to say that she didn’t need an explanation for the rapper’s attitude.

Kanye West has always occupied the special section of controversial titles. He upped it during his show at Paris Fashion Week. Since then, the rapper has faced several setbacks. However, he does not take a back seat.
No more KANYE WEST DAY due to its recent controversies
This period is a bit for the rapper and it will make sense for him to calm down. But it’s like he’s determined to play the same winger in the media, the bad guy. Ever since his “White Lives Matter” shirt showed at PFW, it has been number after number for Ye.
Khloe Kardashian, his ex-wife’s sister, called him out for dragging their family when he tried to divert the blame from his “WLM”. She also chastised a VOGA publisher who talked about his stunt at PFW, which got everyone talking. These are some, among others.
Fast forward to this Monday on the new “Drink Champs” with the rapper. He talked about George Floyd, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian. His comment on the show forced Archibong to step down and declare that there will be no Kanye West Day.
Rapper’s Day formed on July 22 last year after the start of his Donda Tour in Atlanta. Archibong said the proclamation cannot be repeated. It was made thanks to his mother and a recognition of his substantial contribution to the arts.
The former board member said the music star shouldn’t have made such comments in 2022. Hence, no Kanye West Day in the future.
Not you !
