A fire broke out at the American Museum of Natural History in New York on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
About 60 FDNY firefighters rushed to the scene just after 1:30 am after receiving a call about smoking inside the Upper West Side museum, firefighters said.
It took crews about an hour to bring the situation under control and a firefighter was slightly injured, the FDNY said.
It was not immediately clear where the fire had broken out or the extent of the damage to the structure or exhibits in the museum.
The museum did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for comment.
The fire is still under investigation, the FDNY said.
