A woman, identified as Estefany Barboza, was killed in front of her house by two people traveling by motorbike in the Santa Cecilia neighborhood, south of Sincelejo. The murder took place in the middle of a caravan of motorcyclists traveling undercover for the celebration of Halloween.

The most curious and strange thing is that three hours earlier the victim had left a message on social media talking about his death. “Pretend I’m dead,” Estefany wrote on her personal Facebook account, not knowing, or perhaps sensing, that her death might be closer than everyone thought.

Once the woman was injured by the gunshot wounds of the two men who fled by motorbike. Her friends and relatives immediately took her to the Las Peñitas clinic, which is very close to the place of the events. However, the doctors could not do anything to save Estefany’s life, who died minutes before reaching the health center.

The victim was a single mother of three and although she reportedly did not have a job at the time, her family and friends said they were surprised by the murder, as the woman “had no problems with anyone”.

Among the other publications found by Estefany, one drew attention that said: “She was not dead, she was out celebrating”, “We are calm, but not myths, look at the data”. To which friends responded to the publication by commenting: “It’s easy to find the attacker, look for their WhatsApp and mobile phone”.

The authorities of the department of Sucre investigate the murder and all the hypotheses about the death of Estefany. According to preliminary information, the killers knew their victim and that is why they came directly to his home.

The large number of motorcycles plying the streets of Sincelejo, in the middle of the Halloween party, allowed the criminals to escape easily without being discovered by the authorities and security cameras.

The authorities do not rule out that the murder of the 26-year-old woman is linked to the romantic relationships she had. For the time being, the Sucre National Police have not released further details on the murder of Estefany Barboza.
