Car fires at Rødtvet in Oslo have been put out

Police were notified of the fire at 9:02 pm and initially there was a risk that it would spread to other cars and buildings. At 21.28 the police report that the fire has been extinguished.

Several other cars may have been damaged. The cars are in a parking lot outside a garage.

Operations manager Gjermund Stokkli says there have been several car fires in the area. On October 19, a car caught fire on the same street.

– The investigation will show if there is any connection, says Stokkli.
