The Spanish police, in collaboration with the Ecuadorian and Colombian authorities, located and arrested Viviana Andrea Vallejo Gutierrez.
The Colombian citizen was among the 10 most wanted people on Europol’s list. Gutierrez was arrested last Friday in the city of Machala in Ecuador.
She was wanted by the Spanish authorities for trafficking in human beings for the purposes of sexual exploitation, drug trafficking and money laundering.
The detainee should face Spanish justice. If she is found guilty of all charges, she faces 32 years in prison, she informed 20 minutes.
