Halloween is celebrated in many countries on the night of October 31st to November 1st. This tradition dates back to the Celts, who believed that on this night the dead came to earth to visit their relatives. And so they turned on the lights to make their way easier.
The Irish changed the custom because they were afraid of the dead. They wanted to chase them away with creepy masks. All Hallows Evening has become Halloween night.
