DUBAI, 31 October, WAM / The National Foundation of the Emirates concluded the tenth edition of the Flag Protectors campaign, one of the Flag Day initiatives, with a workshop on the Flag Protocol, in collaboration with the General Command of the Dubai Police and the Department of Human Resources of the Dubai Government.
During the workshop a meeting was held with the Directors of Communications, Partnerships, Relations and Honors to fully prepare for the implementation of the State Flag Protocol on Flag Day, corresponding to November 3, as this workshop aimed to promote a culture of respect for science as a national duty and as part of the characteristics of the UAE’s national identity, national constants and the value system represented by good citizenship.
Interestingly, the Flag Protectors campaign launched by the Watani Al Emarat Foundation and the Dubai Police Academy as an outreach initiative aims, through volunteers from the Day for Dubai initiative, which is overseen by the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, to promote a culture of science among all segments and members of society to learn about the flag protocol and how to preserve, face and protect it so that hearts lift it before hands.
As part of its initiatives, this campaign targeted employees of government agencies and Watani Al Emarat clubs in state schools in partnership with the Emirates Foundation for Institutional Education and Youth Centers, as well as residential neighborhood councils and UAE-wide university.
His Excellency Dharar Belhoul Al Falasi, Member of the Federal National Council and Executive Director of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, stressed that the tenth session of the Flag Guardians campaign is a continuation of the previous sessions and a doubling of efforts to spread awareness of the culture of science. and the protocol to face it, protect it and preserve it in order to increase belonging and national loyalty to the homeland, the science and wise leadership that make dreams and the future dependent on the values of happiness, tolerance and peace.
He said that the “Protectors of the Flag” initiative, by strengthening the Emirati value system and its national constants, underscores the spirit of active national participation in which all members of Emirati society, with its different segments, participate in order to raise the flag of the nation high in the sky.
