The Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council has confirmed that what is being promoted is incorrect, that people’s sleep rate decreases with age.
The council explained that seniors need to sleep at the same speed as adults, as they need 7 to 8 hours of sleep a day.
He pointed out that lack of sleep has a lot of damage and contributes to the incidence of many diseases such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and the impact of concentration and mood rates.
She pointed out that getting enough sleep helps maintain the immune system, helps maintain weight, improves mental activity, and maintains cardiovascular health.
