1000 light kits will be distributed free to cyclists in Bordeaux | News

Next Tuesday, November 8, at nightfall, the insurer Groupama will make over 1,000 lighting kits available free of charge at its 11 branches in the Gironde department. The objective of this operation, certainly of communication also for the group, is to sensitize cyclists on the importance of lighting when using the bicycle at night or when it is dark. According to a Road Safety study, 57% of cyclists are poorly lit. Last year 600 kits were distributed, Groupama is aiming for 1,400 this year.

To benefit from it, go from 5pm to Bordeaux (42-44, Cours Portal), Pessac (29, Place de la Ve République), Talence (2, Rue Roustaing), Mérignac (22, Place Jean-Jaurès), Le Bouscat (29, Avenue de la Liberation), Carbon-Blanc (38, avenue Austin-Conte), Saint-Médard-en-Jalles (10, place de la République), Saint-André-de-Cubzac (10, exhibition avenue), Libourne (127, avenue du Général- de-Gaulle), Langon (10, place du Général-de-Gaulle) and Biganos (19, route des Lacs).
