In the Ukrainian capital, one in two homes could run out of electricity after Russian invaders’ attacks on critical infrastructure. It became known from the official announcement, which was published by the press service of the energy company DTEK.
Energy engineers say that the infrastructure has been badly damaged and therefore there is a sharp deterioration of the situation with the energy supply – the shortage of light can be 30%.
In normal mode, the consumption of all subscribers of the capital is 1000-1200 MW, and now it is 600-800 MW. With such bandwidth, every second home can run out of electricity.
