DETROIT (AP) – Saddiq Bey scored 28 points, Cade Cunningham came in on an assist from a triple-double, and Sunday the Detroit Pistons beat defending Golden State Warriors 128-114 to end a five-game losing streak .
Cunningham scored 23 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists to help the Pistons win for the first time since their season opener. Isaiah Stewart added 24 points and 13 rebounds while the Detroit starters scored 111 points.
Steph Curry finished with 32 points and Jordan Poole added 30 points for Golden State, who lost 120-113 in extra time to Charlotte on Saturday. The Warriors rested Klay Thompson.
Golden State had a 10-point lead early in the second quarter, but the Pistons responded with a 29-9 run to take the lead by 10 points. Stewart scored 15 points and seven rebounds in the first half, including a rare triple that put Detroit 63-55 at half-time.
Curry shot 3 of 8 from 3 points in a 15-point half, but the rest of the Warriors went 1-13 from long range.
