Sports writing, .- Celtic established their dominance in the Scottish League with a solid victory at Tony Macaroni Arena over Livingston (0-3), before his visit to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Ange Postecoglou’s Australian side took their eleventh victory in twelve rounds of an unbalanced match after nine minutes with a goal from Japan’s Kyogo Furuhashi from a Greg Taylor pass.
It was Taylor who extended the guest lead at the start of the second half. In the final stretch, the Greek Georgios Giakoumakis managed to widen the scoreboard, who replaced Furuhashi a few minutes earlier, but missed a penalty six minutes from time.
Celtic’s victory was completed in the 87th minute by the Portuguese Jota, who got the ball into the net after receiving a pass from David Turnbull.
