Wall Street investors were in a good mood before the weekend. After an already strong trading week, US equities took another step forward on Friday. The leading Dow Jones Industrial Index rose 2.59% to 32,861.80 points, taking it to a weekly increase of 5.7%. The market-wide S&P 500 rose 2.46% on Friday to 3901.06 points. US stocks also received support from falling bond yields over the week.
