The new cultural center integrates the Rubén Darío library, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary. Sunday morning was the scene of a human chain that has transferred the last books from the current one to the new library and which from today will open its doors in the new cultural center located in the coca park and which has among other things cultural facilities with a study room open 24 hours a day, a children’s library, a Rubén Darío library, an auditorium and an exhibition hall. This work, which belongs to the Generalitat Valenciana, was interrupted for more than 5 years and was resumed 3 years ago, ending in 2022. The budget for the works is over 3.5 million euros.
The auditorium seats 150 and was called by the journalists Ángel María Boronat.
The mayor of Aspe highlighted and thanked all the people who participated in the human supply chain that served to unite a country to its culture “even if it is more than 3 thousand meters from the new center it will serve the joy of the young and old Ador in promoting culture ”
The opening ceremony had the words of the municipal librarian Gracia Torres and the closing was handled by the Director General of Innovation of the Generalitat Valenciana Sonia Tirado.
