A scooter went into the water in Tilburg. Emergency services were alerted to the scooter that was in the water along the Havenpad. As it was not clear whether a driver had also fallen into the water, the ambulance and fire brigade were also called. But in the end it turned out that it was just the scooter. Firefighters fished the scooter out of the water.

A motorcyclist was injured Sunday morning on the A2 from Eindhoven to Weert. The victim was part of a group of motorcyclists. Those motorcyclists immediately stopped when the accident occurred, provided first aid and alerted the emergency services. The injured person’s motorcycle was slightly damaged and was taken away by a rescue company. The accident caused a small traffic jam on the A2.

The 32-year-old resident of Eindhoven, who was shot on Friday night in a house on the Titanpad in Eindhoven, is out of danger. A police spokesman said this on Sunday afternoon. The man’s condition was still “very critical” on Saturday.

A 27-year-old man from Oosterhout was arrested Saturday night for driving without a license. The agents captured him on Mathildastraat in Oosterhout. As it was not the first time, the officers confiscated the car the man was driving.

On Saturday evening a motorist drove his car out of the curve at the exit of the A58 at Wouwse Plantage. The driver escaped unharmed, police said. The road was temporarily closed for rescue work.

Traffic police checked five taxi drivers in Eindhoven on Saturday. Two of them had rested too little (two weeks) and therefore received a so-called cessation and desist order of 32 and 37 hours respectively. So they could go straight home.
