Agents arrested a confused man at Breda’s Oude Vest. The man allegedly assaulted passersby out of the blue and kicked a racketeer in a shop, police said. For safety, they were present with several agents. The suspect was brought to the police station.

A scooter went into the water in Tilburg. Emergency services were alerted to the scooter that was in the water along the Havenpad. The motorcyclist crashes into the A2
A motorcyclist was injured Sunday morning on the A2 from Eindhoven to Weert. The victim was part of a group of motorcyclists. The lanes of the A2 from Eindhoven to Maastricht were closed on Sunday morning around half past ten between the Leenderheide and Maarheeze intersection due to an accident. The closure resulted in a four kilometer long traffic jam, good for more than twenty minutes. Traffic was diverted to the platform. The road was reopened around 11:00.

The cyclist seriously injured Saturday night after colliding with a taxi on the Lunetstraat in Breda is a 23-year-old resident of Breda. This was announced by the police on Sunday morning. The victim was taken to the hospital.

On Saturday evening a motorist drove his car out of the curve at the exit of the A58 at Wouwse Plantage. The driver escaped unharmed, police said. The road was temporarily closed for rescue work.

Traffic police checked five taxi drivers in Eindhoven on Saturday. Two of them had rested too little (two weeks) and therefore received a so-called cessation and desist order of 32 and 37 hours respectively. So they could go straight home.
