Passenger trains will start running on the Chisinau-Kiev route from 6 November, after a 20-year break. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova Andrei Spinu.
“From 6 November 2022 the Chisinau-Kiev railway line will resume operation. Trains will leave for Ukraine three times a week, “Andriy Spinu wrote in his own Telegram channel.
The train will consist of seven wagons, each of which will represent one of the regions of Ukraine. The route will be served by the “Moldovan Railway” and the “Ukrainian Railways”.
