– I got a perfect lift from Tokmac. I was happy when the ball went into the goal after my shot, but I was afraid of being on the break. I looked at the coast marker, waiting for it to raise the flag. When he was down, it was a wonderful feeling.
It has been the biggest success of my career so far.

Monaco performed well, we knew they were a strong team, but at half-time Stanislav Cherchesov he reassured us that we are also good players and that we are only one goal down, so anything can happen. The fans also helped a lot, it was really as if we were still one of us on the pitch. It was great to celebrate with them after such an important match. “It is an incredible feeling that we have won this difficult group with one round to go,” said Zachariassen.
Ferencváros will close the group stage at Trabzonspor next week and play in the Europa League on 9 March 2023. At that point, there will be a knockout round back and forth in the series in February, but the group winners do not have to play in that round.
