The home of Ukrainian Football Association president Andriy Pavelko was ransacked. According to the source, referring to the documents of the Ukrainian National Police, the police visited the home of a football official on 18 October. According to the information provided, Pavelko would be listed as a “witness” in the criminal case.
The 47-year-old former Pavelko stated that an attack is underway on Ukrainian football both from the outside and from the inside. Presumably, all of this is done with the aim of removing him from the post of head of the UAF.
According to unofficial information, Andriy Pavelko is still out of Ukraine, which he left due to a work-related trip to prepare a joint bid by Ukraine, Spain and Portugal to host the 2030 World Cup. It is reported that in Ukraine Pavelko awaits the presentation of the suspect in criminal proceedings.
