Al-Ahly’s side won the Egyptian Super Cup after beating Zamalek 2-0 during the game that brought them together Friday at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the Emirates.
Al-Ahly’s Brazilian goals were scored by Bruno Savio in the 38th minute and Karim Fouad in the second minute of overtime for the match.
Al-Ahly strengthened his record in terms of number of titles won after crowning his 12th title, while Zamalek’s balance came in at four titles.
